Terms of service#

There are no terms of service. None have been written, none have been reviewed, and nothing is for sale, so there is nothing for a set of terms to govern yet.

This page exists so that the absence is stated at the URL where a reader would look for them, rather than being discovered at the point of purchase.

What a real set would have to cover#

Listed so that the gap is a specific one rather than a vague one:

• billing cadence, and what a subscription period is;
• cancellation, and what happens to the router at the end of a term;
• refunds;
• the read-only promise — that an unlicensed or lapsed router still shows every page, counter, log and audit entry — stated as a commitment rather than as a design note on a marketing page;
• acceptable use, if any;
• the relationship between the subscription and the licence agreement.

The read-only promise is the one worth calling out. It is a real property of the code today, and until it is written into terms, it is a design decision rather than an obligation.

What exists in the meantime#

The package's copyright file states a minimal grant, and a placeholder document ships on the image at /usr/share/doc/wheelhouse/TERMS.txt. Both exist so that the image does not carry somebody else's end-user agreement instead. Neither is an agreement to sell under, and the placeholder says exactly that in its own first paragraph.
